Students will learn what it’s like to be a software developer on a daily basis and how code goes from an idea to a fully functional feature. Using git via the command line and other tools that are available, students will create their first repositories and learn what is version control and git, why it’s important, and how to use it.
During the next few of weeks, students will learn the fundamentals of programming and Python syntax. Beginning all the way from variables and taking it step by step through conditionals, loops, and functions. Along the way, students will learn how to keep their code structured and readable.
Having completed the bootcamp preparation course and learned the basic principles of Python, students will take part in a one class Q&A or review session. Any topic that students were unsure, have further questions on or interests in can be brought up in this lecture where we will discuss before moving on to the full bootcamp course.
